VISION STATEMENT

To enhance the LG/MS Police Department’s ability to ensure thesafety and well-being of the communities they promote and protect.

MISSION STATEMENT

To aid the LG/MS Police Department with tools and resources required for the delivery of quality programs and services that promote Public Safety, Community Education and Awareness, and Emergency Response.

GOALS/OBJECTIVES

Develop/engage in a public relations/education program which underscores the work and benefits of LG/MS Police Department, in addition to howthe LG/MS Police Foundation is working to support such efforts of the Police Department.

Increase community awareness of the department’s current/futureneeds and concerns.

Identify/prioritize LG/MS Police Department’s needs and explore/executeprograms that help to fund such needs.
